William Baume 2009 series

The wrist watches of this series are made by senior and delicate traditional watch-making handicraft.They are all equipped with Willam Baume’s tailor-made complicated movement and published in limited edition,marking series number on them.

The four brand-new watch pattern has reminded people of Baume’s long-lasting history, by recuring traditional and complicated handicraft of watch-making. All watches have their own historical origin,most of which are derived by Baume’s classic patterns. Including last year’s three watch patterns of the William Baume series and the brand-new single push button chronograph wrist watch,the William Baume series has four watch patterns.

This wrist watch perfectly combined artistic with practical.To start,stop or back to zero,all you need to do is press the button once.Therefore,compared with traditional ones which have three different chronograph buttons,its crown and functional button become one ,making the case look more smooth.

The design inspiration stems from a similar watch that was published in 1938. The wrist watch inherited modern design of the William Baume series-the silver dial and two small parallel time dial set each other off The small second-time-dial located at the nine o’clock position.while the minute-time-dial at the three o’clock position.

The timing second hand can be read by central hand. The silver dial was trimmed with “Vineux Panier”linear shiver,while the outer circles of the chronograph dial and minute markers were satin polished.

William Baume Flying Tourbillion Wrist Watch

Tourbillion of anti-gravity is one of the famous functions and one of the most complicated watch-making handicraft.Carriage’s rotation can reduct gravity impact, promoting accuracy of the timing. The Frères Baume company broke the HEAO chronometer record by tourbillion movement,and was hornored as the most accurate wrist watch.

The professional handicraft is being illustrated again by flying tourbillion,which integrated artistic value with the best technique.

Ultrathin Wrist Watch of William Baume Series

The ultrathin wrist watch is famous for its elegant shape and top technique applied. Baume has been endeavour to develop ultrathin wrist watch since 1920.

The thinnest automatic calendar watch,which was published in 1965,has cuased a stir.This new ultrathin pattern that it publushed reillustrated its profession in the field.

Compared with the former series,it has three brand-new characters---More effective Baume’s tailor-made WB-UT002 Movement;Raised the power reserve function from 40 hours to 60 hours;Case thickness of 6.2mm,which is a little 0.4mm thicker than the old patterns,but also belongs to ultrathin.

Retrograde Wrist Watch of William Baume Series

The retrograde second hand function can divide time into two parts-after the big secong pointer has gone throgh its first thirty seconds,it returns to the initial point and restart the next thirty seconds.The invention was firstly designed for space saving so that multiple functions can be displayed,however,it takes on charming ballet-lke vision.
